Kabul: Afghan officials say a suicide bomber riding a motorcycle in western Afghanistan has killed six people and wounded 36 others.
Afghanistan's Interior Ministry said Friday a police officer was among the injured in the morning explosion in Farah province.
A doctor at the hospital in Farah, Shir Agh Asas, says many of the wounded are children.
Provincial governor Rohul Amin says the deadly blast occurred about 50 metres from his compound.
