Musharraf to face protests in Britain

London: Protesters are expected to greet Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf on Monday ahead of his talks with British Prime Minister Gordon Brown.

Jemima Khan, the former wife of cricket hero turned politician Imran Khan, was to join protesters in Whitehall, central London.

Mushaffar has faced criticism of his rights record and concern over the February 18 polls, which many fear might not be free and fair.

"I will be protesting Gordon Brown's continued support for Pakistan's dictator," Jemima Khan said in a statement.

Khan said she will be joined by politicians, lawyers, doctors, human rights activists, journalists and other Pakistanis during the protest.
