Little response to Hyderabad strike called after Jagan's arrest

Hyderabad On hearing the news of 14-days judicial custody for Jagan, mother, Vijaya Lakshmi, broke down outside her Lotus Pond residence in post Jubilee Hills area.

Other family members and party leaders tried to console her.

Later in the evening Vijaya Lakshmi broke her fast which she had started last evening.

Meanwhile the state-wide strike called by the YSR Congress party in protest of Jagan’s arrest did not evoke much of a response except a few places in Rayal Seema and Andhra region including YSR family’s home turf Kadapa.

The strike action call did not have any effect in the Telangana region and Hyderabad where life remained normal with buses operating normally and offices remaining open.
