Bangalore: At least eight explosions have rocked the southern Indian city of Bangalore.
Early reports say that at least two people are dead and several injured.
The cause of the explosions is not clear. Police have described the blasts as low intensity.
All the blasts occurred in crowded areas within a span of 15 minutes.
Malls, educational institutions and cinema halls across Bangalore are now closed and police have cordoned off the blast sites.
The injured have been taken to Bangalore's St John's hospital. Bomb disposal squads have rushed to the blast sites and telephone networks in the city are now jammed.
