Beijing: China's Foreign Ministry has expressed concerned about a planned meeting between British Prime Minister Gordon Brown and the Dalai Lama.
A spokesperson said the exiled spiritual leader was a ''political refugee engaged in activities of splitting China under the camouflage of religion.''
He also renewed accusations that figures associated with the Dalai Lama were behind deadly protesting in Tibet's regional capital, Lhasa.
Tibet's exiled Buddhist leader is scheduled to visit London in May.
