London: Britain's Ministry of Defense said on Friday that two more British soldiers have been killed in Afghanistan.
A spokesman said the two men were hit by enemy fire while patrolling the area around their base in the Upper Gereshk Valley. A third soldier was also injured in Thursday's attack.
The men served in the 2nd Battalion the Parachute Regiment.
On Sunday, three soldiers serving in the same unit were killed in an attack in the Upper Sangin Valley.
At least 102 soldiers British soldiers have now died in Afghanistan since the 2001 invasion by the US and its allies.
