Teacher shot by her husband at elementary school in Ohio

Portsmouth: A man shot shot his wife at an elementary school in Ohio on Thursday before managing to escape, police reported.

No children were harmed.

The condition of the woman, who teaches at the school, was not immediately known. Authorities are in the process of trying to apprehend the man.

The shooting happened at Notre Dame Elementary in Portsmouth, a community in southern Ohio near the Kentucky border.
