Zayed House for Islamic Culture welcomes British delegates

Al Ain: The Zayed House for Islamic Culture welcomed on Wednesday a delegation from the British Embassy in Abu Dhabi led by Ian Wood, Deputy British Ambassador to the UAE.

Hamad Al Ka'abi, Director General of the House explained to the visitors the mission of the House for promoting Islamic culture.

Wood expressed the sincere desire of the British Embassy to boost bonds of cooperation between the House and the UK given the House's policy which aims at fostering moderation, religious tolerance and peaceful co-existence.

The delegation watched a documentary on activities carried out by the House.

Members of the delegation praised the educational programmes launched by the House for non-Arab speakers especially those targeting rehabilitation and training of US imams (prayer leaders) and US Muslim women.
