Al Ain: UAE returned to pleasant weather conditions on Monday after the season’s heaviest rainfall across the country. The conditions are expected to improve further.

Occasional sunny conditions prevailed in the emirate. Weathermen said conditions would improve from today onwards but the sky will be partly cloudy to cloudy in general.

Weather is expected to be pleasant across the country and the sea will be moderately rough. “We expect a fall in temperate, particularly at night, in the next couple of days," a forecaster said.

The morning temperatures were between 22 to 17 degree Celsius in the coastal areas, 22 to 15 degree Celsius in interior areas, and 12 to 5 degree Celsius in the mountainous areas.

Meanwhile, water has receded in most areas and traffic is normal on roads and highways. Water-logging problem still persists in some low areas in Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, and Al Ain and municipal officials have been busy working hard to keep the drainage open.
