Dubai: The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority has established a new call centre at customer services department of the RTA's Corporate Services Sector.
It is located in Dubai Silicon Valley and is fitted with state-of-the-art technologies.
Abdullah Al Madani, chief executive of RTA's Corporate Support Services Sector, said: "Establishing this new centre will enhance the provision of top-class services to customers, following a two-year contract signed between the RTA and Nortel company to use the latest communication technologies to replace the existing call centre."
He added that the RTA viewed the customer as a key partner contributing to upgrading and improvement of their services, in accordance with the RTA's vision and strategy.
"We are aspiring to make this new call centre of the RTA one of the best at the regional and international levels.
"It will be manned by highly qualified and well trained cadres so as to deliver the best services, facilitate and simplify procedures, and achieve the intended results," he said.
