The Hamdan International Photography Award wins best “award” website prize

Dubai: The Hamdan International Photography Award (HIPA) was awarded the Pan Arab Web Awards Academy Gold Award in the Awards category.

Hipa had launched its new website in March in line with the launch of the third season of the award “Creating the Future”. The current HIPA website is available in four languages; Arabic, English, German and Mandarin Chinese.

Hipa beat 420 other organisations throughout the Arab world in this category.

The new website was designed to improve the submission process for photographers wishing to submit photographs in this season’s competition as well as visitors wanting to learn more about the award and the art of photography.

Websites were judged on aspects such as website design, user-friendliness, and various other technical aspects related to the programming of web pages.
