Social affairs Minister opens rehab forum

Dubai: Under the patronage of Shaikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Deputy Ruler and Minister of Finance, The 6th edition of Dubai International Rehabilitation Forum - REHAB Dubai 2008, was inaugurated by Mariam Al Roumi, Minister of Social Affairs, on Monday.

The event, held under the slogan 'Integration and Partnership- Wider Horizons' from March 10-12 at the Dubai international Exhibition Centre, aims to support efforts to integrate people with special needs into the main stream of society.

The conference is accompanied by an exhibition in which more than 100 companies from 30 countries display the latest technologies used in the field of rehabilitation.
