Sharjah: Wildlife centre opens during Eid
Sharjah: The Arabian Wildlife Centre will resume work from the second day of the Eid Al Fitr, an announcement said.
The Centre was closed for renovation since early September. Situated on the Sharjah-Dhaid highway, the Arabian Wildlife Centre exhibits all the animals found in the Arabian Peninsula, both current and extinct.
Opened in September 1999, this facility houses over 100 species displayed in safe, spacious and natural surroundings.
The centre also demonstrates the diversity of the fauna found in the peninsula.
