Dubai: Prevent tragedies during Ramadan by following simple guidelines, the Civil Defence has told residents.
Brigadier Rashid Thani Al Matroushi, Director of Dubai Civil Defence, said the kitchen is a busy place during Ramadan and families need to follow safety guidelines.
He said the civil defence obligates all tent users to get permission to ensure safety standards.
The guidelines for tents include avoiding putting electric generators near them, avoiding smoking and keeping a fire extinguisher in tents. He called on motorists to abide by traffic rules, especially before iftar.
