RCA signs MoU to build 10 mosques in the Western Region

Abu Dhabi: The Red Crescent Authority (RCA) and General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments (GAIAE) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to build 10 new mosques in the Western Region at a total cost of Dh20 million.

The project, which comes within the partnership between the two sides, will be funded by the RCA under the supervision of GAIAE, aimed at serving wide segments of the society.

Ahmad Humaid Al Mazroui, Board Chairman of the Red Crescent Authority, and Hamdan Musallam Al Mazroui, Chairman of the General Authority of Islamic Affairs and Endowments, signed the MoU at RCA’s headquarter.

Al Mazroui, addressing a press conference, said that the RCA will start the new year with a novel initiative which boosts the developmental and constructive efforts at the local level, deemed to be a qualitative leap in the field of partnership between the two authorities.
