Ras Al Khaimah: Abdullah Ali Kaseen, an Emirati from Al Rams area in Ras Al Khaimah, sold his pigeon for Dh7,000, believed to be the most expensive bird of its kind in the emirate.

Kaseen said the person who bought it fell in love with it and offered this high price to own it.

The pigeon, which is locally known as 'Al Boufotah', has been of the very preferable types the Emiratis love to own.
