Online applications for building permits

Abu Dhabi: Online applications for building permits will be available on the Municipality of Abu Dhabi City’s website from Sunday (September 2) onwards, the municipality announced in a statement sent yesterday (Wednesday).

Firms in the construction sector can then submit online applications for permits to undertake tunnelling work, removing and repaving asphalt pavement permits, cutting greenery, pumping groundwater in rainwater drainage networks and removing and repaving pedestrian paths, car-parks and roads.

The municipality also recently organised a workshop to familiarise industry executives with the process of obtaining permits online.
