Mohammed Bin Rashid attends wedding reception

Dubai: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, attended on Thursday evening a reception hosted by Indian businessman Sunny Varkey to celebrate the wedding of his son Jay Varkey to his Japanese bride Arico.

The reception was also attended by Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, and Shaikh Maktoum Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai.

Shaikh Mohammad, Shaikh Hamdan and Shaikh Maktoum congratulated the couples and wished them happy married life.

Shaikh Mohammad also cut a cake to celebrate the 50th year of Varkey's family arrival in the UAE and starting their investment in the country in the fields of healthcare, education and other businesses.

Shaikh Mohammad praised the efforts made by members of the Varkey family in their significant contribution to the economic growth.

Also present were a number of Shaikhs, ministers, senior officials and businessmen.
