Modhesh World organises Isra Wal Meraj programme

Dubai: Modhesh World, the region's biggest edutainment venue is all set to celebrate Isra Wal Meraj beginning today.

The festivities will begin at 5pm. The traditional aspects of the festival will be carried forward with a recital of the Isra Wal Meraj in Arabic at the Play and Interactive Stage.

A special question and answer session has been designed in English besides the sessions in Arabic. Generally meant for children, a special session is being organised for adults with lots of goodie bags waiting to be won by parents.

Ahmad Ali, Supervisor of Modhesh World, said: "Education in not limited to studies at school. Knowledge of one's religion and faith are very important for children to grow into strong and just individuals. Modhesh was created to fill the lives of children with fun and happiness and also teach them values.

"We hope families will come and celebrate this momentous event at Modhesh World.

Modhesh World will abstain from staging all shows unrelated to the event in addition to no music between 7.30pm today and 7.30pm tomorrow to commemorate this day.

Modhesh World is open between 10am and 10pm from Saturdays to Wednesdays, from 10am to midnight on Thursdays and between 3pm and midnight on Fridays.

Tickets to the venue are priced at Dh10 for adults and Dh15 for kids with numerous free games and rides being part of the package.
