Kids look forward to Modhesh World’s opening

Dubai: Children across Dubai have expressed their excitement over the opening of Modhesh World, the region’s largest edutainment indoor theme park in the region, on June 20.

Young Dubai residents Leah and Ascia Al Jaroof said they never miss an opportunity to visit Modhesh World when it is on. “We love playing there,” said Leah, while her sister Ascia added: “We love spending time at Modhesh World. Modhesh is so friendly and so much fun. He is the best thing about the summer holidays along with all the things we can do and see at Modhesh World.”

Asaad Basem, who is from Syria, said he’d love to visit Modhesh World as soon as it opens.

“I want to go to Modhesh World because it’s a lot of fun there with the play areas, the rides and the funfair,” Basem said.

While the children may have to wait for a few more days, they can get their fix of Modhesh, Dubai’s beloved summer mascot, in various shopping malls in the city to spread some cheer during the Dubai Summer Surprises.

Those who’ve met Modhesh during his mall tours said they could not help but take snapshots with the yellow mascot for a souvenir.

“It’s always fun to see Modhesh. I have my pictures taken with him whenever I see him. He looks happy with his great smile and seeing him makes me happy too!” Raj Vir Singh, a little boy from India, said.

Agreeing with Raj was Karim Awad, a Jordanian boy, who loves Modhesh for his funky spirit. “Modhesh is a loving character. He says hello to all kids and he plays with them every time.”

Little Latifa Al Muhairi from Dubai said she found Modhesh loving and friendly. “I always like to meet him,” she said. “And I also love going to Modhesh World with my family. We go every year and I have a lot of fun playing and learning new things there.”
