Shaikh Mohammad congratulates graduates

Abu Dhabi: General Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on Wednesday attended a ceremony to mark the graduation of the 18 batch of officer cadets from the College of Command and Staff.

Shaikh Mohammed distributed certificates and awards to the graduates, and congratulated them, wishing them success in their military careers.

The ceremony was attended by Shaikh Tahnoun Bin Mohammad Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Ruler's Representative in the Eastern Region, Lieutenant General Shaikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister, other shaikhs,, senior officials, armed forces and police officers, members of the diplomatic corps and parents of graduates.

Shaikh Mohammad congratulated the graduates and lauded their high level of accomplishment projected in their military attendance and training skills.

Brigadier Rashad Mohammed Salem Al Saadi, CSC Commander said in a speech that the college was proud to present qualified and ambitious graduates who are capable of dealing with the modern military intellect and armed with knowledge and skills to absorb and manage the current changes in the military fields.

"Thanks to the great attention given by the General Headquarters of the Armed Forces, the CSC is now capable of making a huge leap in terms of technology. Recently, the CSC was launched to continue interaction with the outside world and to provide the best curricula," he added.

Brigadier Al Sa''adi thanked Shaikh Mohammad for his unlimited support to the college and pledged to continue to maintain the highest standards of training and education, in keeping with the vision of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice- President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and Their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates.

The batch included army officers from the UAE, GCC countries, Jordan, Yemen, Pakistan, Germany and South Korea.
