Shaikh Khalifa leaves for Dammam to attend GCC summit

Abu Dhabi: President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan has left for Dammam, Saudi Arabia to attend a summit of GCC leaders that is expected to discuss the state of affairs and developments regionally, internationally and in the Arab world.

Accompanying him is a high level delegation consisting of Minister of Interior Lt Gen Shaikh Saif bin Zayed, Minister of Presidential Affairs Shaikh Mansoor bin Zayed, Foreign Minister Shaikh Abdullah bin Zayed, Minister of Economy Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansoori.

The leaders of the GCC states are expected to discuss political, military, economic and security cooperation on the GCC level.
