Shaikh Abdullah receives US Congress delegation

Abu Dhabi: Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, received on Saturday at the Capital Gate Towers a delegation from the US Congress, headed by Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, Chairwoman of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs.

Shaikh Abdullah discussed with the Congress delegation members ways to enhance bilateral ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

They also exchanged views on the latest regional and international developments, as well as efforts made to maintain stability and peace in the region.

Shaikh Abdullah praised the progressive ties between the two countries and the strategic partnership in all fields.
