Mohammad reaffirms support for young Emiratis

Dubai: The government supports the Emirati youth through a clear vision, which has developed a new breed of creative national leaders, His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, said on Monday.

Speaking to an Irish delegation, which included senior officials from the public and private sectors, Shaikh Mohammad also assured foreign investors that the UAE offers a safe and stable environment for their investments.

"They find in our country a fertile ground [for their investments] governed by laws and legislations that protect capital and provide security and social stability in a pluralistic society," he told the delegation, which is on a visit to the UAE to study the principles and objectives of the Mohammad Bin Rashid Programme for Leadership Development (MBRPLD).

The programme is a pioneering initiative launched by Shaikh Mohammad to nurture young Emirati leaders and achieve sustainable development in the UAE.

The objectives is to ensure long-term leadership development across the government, provide a comprehensive approach to developing leaders at all levels and empower the Dubai Government to successfully implement the Dubai Strategic Plan 2015.

"Dubai and the UAE are now reaping the fruit of the government's strategy, which focused on preparing and qualifying the human capital to keep pace with the requirements of the new stage and fulfil the future human needs," Shaikh Mohammad said.
