Mohammad Bin Rashid meets Mayor of Beijing

Beijing: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Tuesday morning received Guo Jinlong, the Mayor of Beijing. He hoped that the visit would further push forward bilateral relations between the UAE and China.

The mayor briefed Shaikh Mohammad about Beijing development project, which he described as China's centre of politics and decision-making. He said Beijing is striving for more harmony with other capitals of the world.

He said like many Chinese businessmen and officials, he too is attracted by Dubai as an international financial and business hub. He lauded the UAE for achieving great prosperity, which made the country a world attraction.

Shaikh Mohammad also praised China for its modern development and great achievements. He said he has witnessed China's great development in all areas, including the economy and infrastructure sectors.

Present at the meeting were Shaikh Maktoum Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Deputy Ruler, Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, Shaikh Ahmad Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Airports Authority and President of the Emirates Group, Mohammad Bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister for Cabinet Affairs, Reem Ebrahim Al Hashimi, Minister of State, and other members of the delegation accompanying the UAE Vice-President.
