Khalifa returns from Turkmenistan

Al Ain: President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan returned home on Wednesday after a visit to Turkmenistan where he held talks with Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhammedow.

Bilateral relations and ways to boost cooperation in political, economic and social fields were discussed with the Turkmen leader, as well as a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest.

Shaikh Khalifa was received on arrival by Shaikh Sultan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister, General Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and other shaikhs and officials.

Accompanying Shaikh Khalifa were Shaikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Presidential Affairs, Shaikh Sultan Bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, the President's advisor and other shaikhs
