Khalifa receives Sudanese leader and Algerian speaker

Abu Dhabi: President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Sunday received Sudanese First Vice-President General Salva Kiir Mayardit, who is currently visiting the country.

They discussed cooperation between the two countries, particularly in the economic, commercial and investment arena.

General Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, other ministers, shaikhs and top officials were also present.

Meanwhile, Shaikh Khalifa on Sunday received the speaker of the Algerian National Council (Majlis Al Ummah) Abdul Qadir Bin Saleh.

Shaikh Khalifa welcomed the visiting dignitary, who conveyed greetings from Algerian President Abdulaziz Bouteflika and his hopes for the continued growth of bilateral relations between the UAE and Algeria.
