Kazakhstan opens new embassy complex in Abu Dhabi

Country wants to strengthen mutually beneficial ties with UAE

Abu Dhabi: Relations between the UAE and Kazakhstan are developing steadily, thanks to the support of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and his Kazakh counterpart Nursultan Nazarbayev, a senior UAE Foreign Ministry official said yesterday.

"The bonds between the two countries are considered one of the most distinguished bilateral ties at the Islamic level and merit to be followed by other countries," Tarek Al Heidan, Assistant to UAE Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Minister of Foreign Affairs said during a ceremony for the opening of the new building of the embassy of Kazakhstan in Abu Dhabi, which coincides with its national day anniversary.

"The two countries possess a modern, strong infrastructure and vibrant base for joint cooperation which can utilised to boost joint cooperation in various fields," he added, noting that friendly investment environment in Kazakhstan opens the door for UAE private sector to invest in infrastructure, energy, oil and mineral projects.

Executive Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, R. Zhoshibayev has expressed optimism to enhance bilateral cooperation between Republic of Kazakhstan and the UAE in all fields and assured to make all out efforts to strengthen mutually beneficial relations.
