FNC sends statement to Arab body

Abu Dhabi: General Secretariat of the Federal National Council (FNC) has sent its statement over the recent Iranian actions at the UAE island of Abu Mousa to the General Secretariat of the Arab Parliamentary Union (APU), which will serve all Arab parliaments with the copies of the statement.

The statement called on Iran to immediately remove the administrative offices set up on Abu Mousa, urging all the world parliaments to back the UAE in its legitimate sovereignty over the three occupied islands of Greater and Lesser Tunbs and Abu Mousa.

The APU called last March on Arab parliaments to contact Iran to cease occupation of UAE's three islands.
