Female pupils to be trained in self-defence
Dubai: Female pupils at schools will be trained in self-defence skills to help them cope with any threatening situation they encounter.
The Security Education programme adopted by Dubai Police has launched the self-defence project for female school pupils in Dubai by training them in karate.
Brigadier Mohammad Saeed Al Merri, Deputy Director of Dubai Police's Community Service Department highlighted the importance of security education to help females defend themselves if a compromising situation occurs.
