There was lightning and thunder for a couple of hours starting 6 am Friday
Dubai: The weather will be unsettled Saturday and it will very cool, windy and the seas will be rough, according to the Dubai Met Office.
The temperature will drop to 24 degree Celsius. “It will feel like winter,’ said the duty forecaster. He said the weather will be unsettled, “But don’t change your plans.”
The winds will pick up on Saturday and reach nearly 56 kmp/h over the seas. A marine warning has been issued and the seas will be out of bounds for sailors and fishermen till Monday, according to the forecaster. There could 10-foot waves off shore.
The low pressure in the higher atmosphere over Bahrain and the eastern province of Saudi Arabia had moved over the emirates early Friday morning, dumping heavy rain in Sharjah, Ajman and Umm Al Quwain early morning.
The rain however, barely clipped Dubai, but there was lightning and thunder for a couple of hours starting 6 am Friday.
