Strong sea breeze brings temperature down in UAE
Dubai: It will be quite windy on Wednesday with sea breeze blowing in from the east and bringing in a high cloud cover, according to the Dubai met office.
While the temperature will drop to around 41 degrees Celsius early in the day, it will climb up to 45 degrees Celsius during the late afternoon, especially in the open desert area, said Dr. S.K. Gupta, duty forecaster.
The winds of 22 knots (about 40kmp/h) will raise dust but will not affect visibility.
"This is the typical August weather," said the forecaster. Humidity will not be high at around 50 per cent and evenings will be pleasant with the temperature dipping down to between 32 to 35 degrees Celsius.
The cloud cover will generate thunderstorm activity over the mountains and whip up waves of 3 to 4 feet offshore, said the forecaster.
