65 aftershocks monitored after quake
Dubai: There were 65 aftershocks monitored by the local agencies after the earthquake that shook Iran.
Deputy Director of Dubai Municipality Hussain Bin Naser Lootah said "Four observatory stations has been set up in Hatta, Nazwah, Al Fuquaa and Al Aushush. There have been exchange of date between Dubai and earthquake monitoring stations in Oman and the International monitoring agencies."
The observatory data for Dubai Municipality points to the fact that the earthquake activity in south Iran has started to decrease in terms of the number of quakes.
There are no direct effects or infrastructural damages in Dubai.
