Emirates Post launches new postmark to highlight integration of special needs in schools

Dubai: Emirates Post has created a postmark to highlight the role of the Ministry of Social Affairs in the rehabilitation of persons with special needs in mainstream schools.

The postmark is being used as a cancellation seal on mail from September 8 to 14.

The move is part of a government to strategy to integrate children with special needs with normal students in mainstream schools, and thus enable them to be part of the larger community and lead fulfilling lives.

“We are committed to supporting the government strategy to provide equal opportunities to people with special needs,'' said Ibrahim Bin Karam, CEO of Emirates Post.

“The first step towards improving the quality of life of special needs people is to give them a chance to go to mainstream schools. This will provide the right foundation for full rehabilitation of people with special needs in society.''
