Four Khalifa University students win competition

Abu Dhabi:Khalifa University announced yesterday that four of its senior Electrical and Electronic Engineering students won first place in the “Senior Design Competition” held during the recent 8th annual Institute for Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) UAE Student Day held at Sharjah University.

Abdullah Al Shehhi, Mohammad Luai Hammadih, Saif Al Kindi and Mohammad Sami Zitouni won first place for their project entitled “Microphone Array for Audio Surveillance and Conferencing.” In total, there were 70 projects and 251 participating students from 15 universities across the UAE at the Student Day.
