Emirati student delegation to visit Swiss art exhibit

Dubai: A delegation of 14 Emirati girl students from various colleges and universities in the UAE will visit an international art exhibition in Switzerland next month.

The students will visit Art Basel under the Art Exchange Program launched by Shaikha Manal Bint Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Women's Establishment.

The Emirati delegation will leave for Switzerland on June 3. The week-long visit that ends until June 11 will also included guided tours to museums and historical sites.

During the week-long visit until 11 June, the students will also experience guided tours to important museums and historical sites.

On their return to the UAE, the participants will be tasked to create a work of art inspired by their trip.

The Swiss visit comes as the first part of the Art Exchange Program to promote artistic and cultural ties between the UAE and the world.
