Abu Dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Education Council announced that the doors will be open for new Emirati students for enrolment in nurseries and government and model schools from today until June 24.

The announcement came in a circular issued by Mohammad Salem Al Daheri, Exceutive Director of the School Sector at the council.

Al Daheri urged parents to abide by the specified enrolment period, to make it easy for schools and their administrations as well as for their children.Prompt enrollment will help schools meet their enrolment capacity and their needs without disruption or delay.

According to the circular, the enrolment for Emiratis whose parents hold family registration documents must take place in nurseries and schools close to their homes.
