DEWA opening hours during Eid

DEWA office will open for customers during the Eid Al Adha holiday on November 30 and December 1 - from 9am to 3pm

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) will be serving customers during the Eid Al Adha holiday on Monday November 30 and Tuesday December 1, from 9am to 3pm. The Authority will be open from Saturday December 5 as per regular Customer Service Centre hours.

This is in addition to DEWA’s Customer Care Center which receives calls, emails and faxes 24/7 related to customer services. Customers reporting emergencies and technical problems are requested to call 991.

Saeed Al Tayer, Managing Director and CEO of DEWA, confirmed that the services offered will be mainly front-line bill enquiry and payment, new connections, registration of new customers, change of billing address, and tenancy contracts renewal in addition to bill payments in the Head Office, Al Wasl and Burj Nahar Customer Service Centers. Whereas Al Twar Customer Service Center will offer bill payment services only.

Marwan Bin Haidar, Vice President, Chief Information Officer, said: “Among other convenient channels that customers can use to pay their bills are payment through DEWA’s website (ePay), and payment through mobile phone (mPay)” He added: “A number of employees from the Information Technology Department shall be working during Eid in order to maintain the efficiency of work which greatly depends on technological expertise.”
