Unclaimed planes bother authorities
Ras Al Khaimah: The Civil Aviation Department of Ras Al Khaimah has lodged a compliant with the emirate's Civil Court against two planes which have been parked at the emirate's international airport for years.
A senior court official confirmed a complaint against two transporter aircraft blocking out a huge space had been received.
The official said that the owner of the two aircraft had been notified about the complaint but nobody had responded taking responsibility for the planes.
He said that once a court verdict is secured, the emirate's authorities would remove the aircraft from the airport.
The official said the hearing had been postponed until next week and urged the owner of the planes to show up at the court before a court verdict was passed.
