RAK police confiscate 10 quad bikes
Ras Al Khaimah: Police seized yesterday 10 motorcycles and quad bikes that did not have a plate number and their drivers did not hold the required driving licence.
A senior officer at the emirate's Traffic and Licensing Department said 55 other drivers were fined for racing and disturbing people in residential areas.
The officer said many of these vehicles are used by youngsters that do not hold a proper driving licence and that those vehicles themselves are not licensed by the concerned authorities.
Vehicle with expired registration seized
Police seized yesterday a vehicle with an expired registration card and found that the owner had changed the colour of his vehicle without referring to the emirate's Traffic and Licensing Department to get the official approval.
