Dubai: The lawyer of a Lebanese woman, who's taking legal action against a current minister facing alleged charges of breaching trust of around Dh300 million, has denied any settlement.

"My client has not waived her complaint which is still being investigated by the Public Prosecution. They haven't reached any settlement ... the case is now being questioned even more seriously than before," the claimant's legal advisor told Gulf News yesterday.

The woman allegedly accused the minister of breaching the trust of her family's business, including a huge property and a company based in Dubai.

Her brother, who died in 2005, partnered the minister in a group of business companies based on 49 to 51 per cent share since 1995.

The sister claims that the minister made a settlement with her family after her two brothers, who ran the companies, died.

She claims that the settlement was made based on the fact that he is a partner, before she discovered that the minister was a services' agent.
