Violations range from bikes not having number plates, bicycles and bikes being chained to traffic sign posts
Dubai: Naif Police station recently confiscated 110 bicycles and bikes in one week for violating safety and security regulations.
The confiscations were made during a campaign to raise awareness about the dangers of such violations on the lives of individuals, said Lieutenant Colonel Abdullah Kadim Surour, Director of Naif Police Station.
In a press statement, he said these violations range from bikes not having number plates, bicycles and bikes being chained to traffic sign posts in public areas, electric powered bikes being driven on main roads and on the wrong side of the road.
