Mother charged with strangling newborn child

Dubai: A mother is charged with strangling her illegitimate newborn child in a hospital bathroom.

The Public Prosecution charged the 33-year-old Indonesian housemaid with premeditated murder and referred the case to Dubai Court of First Instance.

The body of the girl child was found on a sofa wrapped in a blue blanket stained with blood.
