Man arrested in Dubai for possessing 3kg of heroin

Dubai: A man has been arrested in a Deira hotel for possessing three kilograms of heroin.

According to Major General Abdul Jaleel Mahdi, Director of the general department of anti-narcotics at Dubai Police, the arrest took place on November 10 when the department received information about the presence of an Asian man with heroin.

The man was arrested and was found carrying heroin stashed away in car spare parts.

Major General Mehdi urged the public to cooperate with the police to help combat drug addiction, smuggling and trafficking.
