Cooking gas distributors warned

Ras Al Khaimah: Authorities warned several cooking gas distributors who do not stick to the price scheme announced by the Department of Economic Development.

Sources said the gas distributors have been selling the standard cylinder (22kg) for Dh80 to Dh83 whereas the department instructed them to stick to Dh79 for the cylinder.

Sources said the new price list has already been sent to gas distributors, with warnings of tough penalties in case of any violation.

The department has designated telephone numbers, 07-2221722 or 8007253266, for the public to file their complaints.
