Social bookmarking made easy

NetRocket.com has been coming up a lot on my radar recently, but social book-marking just never caught my attention. However, I've found myself using the site frequently.

Web browsers have had the ability to mark your favourite websites, but NetRocket also lets everyone else (privacy-setting permitting) view your favourite links.

NetRocket does a very good job of categorising, tagging and displaying links. For starters, there is a 'scheduled' list for recurring sites, such as newfeeds, a 'to view' list and a 'full' list.

The 'to view' list is useful to those of us who like to mark interesting sites, but may not find all the sites as interesting the second time around. So, instead of allowing the list to grow until it is uncontrollable, NetRocket's 'to view' list allows sites to simple expire. Ignore a link for a few weeks, and it will simply go away. It you like a website, you can graduate it to the 'full' or permanent list.

Every site you mark can also be tagged, which means you get to add your own keywords to describe it. You can also categorise your bookmarks into blogs, news, technology etc. The site also lets you to separate your business and personal sites.

The site also has browser tools, which makes adding links to the page even easier.
