It is reported the trio won medals in karate and cycling.
Abu Dhabi: The UAE National Olympic Committee has been officially addressed by the organisers of the 12th Arab Games, held last month in Doha, Qatar, after three of the UAE's medal-winning athletes tested positive for taking prohibited performance-enhancing substances.
It is reported the trio won medals in karate and cycling.
The discovery follows the stripping of the silver medal won by UAE weightlifter Aysha Al Beloushi, who also tested positive during the competition.
Second test results
Yousuf Al Sarkal, First Vice-President of the UAE NOC, said: "We are waiting for the second test of sample B and will take actions after that.
"Meanwhile, the accused athletes will be asked about the substances they took before taking part in the official competitions of the Arab Games."
The UAE won a bronze in the men's road race in the cycling team event and a gold and silver in the Kata competitions of karate at the Games.
