Dubai: For all Sudoko lovers in the UAE, you have a companion in the form of Serbian Ana Ivanovic. One of her pasttimes as she waits for the start of a match in the locker room is to "dabble a bit with Sudoko".

"From the time I was young, I have loved these sort of games that require some mental exercise. Sudoko helps me keep my focus and concentrate on my thinking. I find Sudoko is the best way to get prepared for a match," Ivanovic said.

Russian ace still haunted by ordeal
Anna Chakvetadze is still haunted by the robbery at her Moscow house last year during which she was tied up with her parents and injured.

"I never thought something like that would happen to me," she said. "It was like something in the movies." "I couldn't sleep the first three nights in my room," added Chakvetadze, who beat Agnieszka Radwanska at the Dubai Championships.
