Emirate's young talent to compete in international race in England

Abu Dhabi: The very best of emerging Middle Eastern talent roars into the English rural county of Cumbria next week for the culmination of a ground-breaking year of motorsport for Abu Dhabi.

The emirate's finest young rally stars, Bader Al Jabri, Majid Al Shamsi and Ahmad Al Mansouri, will join 20 other junior drivers from around the world to compete in the prestigious FST International Shootout.

The international rally competition, which takes place from Monday to Tuesday close to the market town of Cockermouth, will be hotly contested as the young hopefuls compete to win a year's apprenticeship at Cumbria's world-renowned motor racing company, M-Sport.

Among the eager spectators will be Ahmad Hussain, deputy director general of the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority, the organisation behind the Abu Dhabi Junior Driver Development Programme.

Abu Dhabi’s talented junior motoring stars will be competing in the FST International Shootout in Cumbria, England.
