Quartet score 86 points to win National Day cup

Abu Dhabi: The team made up of Saleh Al Ameri, Nawaf Fawaz, Hanif Rabbani and Majid Madani won the National Day competition at Yas Links Abu Dhabi.

The quartet carded 86 points to clinch the trophy five points ahead of Jalal Abbasi, Fathi, Haridas Kondath and Vijayesh Kondath, who wrested the runners-up spot from Darwish Al Qubaisi, Abdullah Al Humaidan, Kevin Roy and Saeem Rehman.

Organised by Emirates Golf Federation and sponsored by National Marine Dredging company, the annual tournament attracted almost 100 players.
